Can you help?

1st Pontnewydd Scout Group always needs help from parents where possible to help us do adventurous activities so that your son/daughter can have the best experience possible.

There are more roles than leaders!

Adult Helpers

Adult helpers help where they can. Even if its once a month on a section night or maybe just on certain activies. You need to be CRB checked and then you can help us whenever you are free to!

Transportation

Transportation is always required on events that we undertake. We are putting seat belts in the PIGG so that we can take scouts places, but as our troop, pack and colonies grow we need more seats.

Adventurous activities make scouting what is and allow us to do more challenging things.

How can I help?

To help us please contact us. To be involved in scouting in any capacity you need to have a CRB check. These are done by the group and dont cost you anything.

Commitment isnt an issue for our helpers as we understand that people are busy. Help where it is available is appreciated.
